The journey for ages 8–12

Ages 8–12: 10 live courses in three areas

Choose an age range above to see the courses for that age in all three areas together.

All three areas are available at this age: a first program with Scratch; building their own world in Minecraft, not just playing in it; video and digital design; Python for Beginners and Creating with AI at 12; and in finance, FinPractice, FinProje and, at 12, FinGram.

Each program is chosen and priced separately, and your child can take more than one area at a time. During the call, you and our advisor decide which course to start with, based on your child’s age and what they’ve done before.

HOW WE LEARN

A good question.
A solution of their own.

  1. 01
The teacher doesn’t hand over the answer.

With the right question, they give the child room to try.

  2. 02
The child creates their own work.

The work on their screen at the end of the lesson shows what they learned.

  3. 03
    Live, in groups of 8–10.

Every child shows their own work; the group looks for mistakes together.

  4. 04
Once a week, for a set length of time.

One live lesson: 90 minutes, or 45 at ages 5–7. The teacher and the group are there on screen; the child isn’t alone.

AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT

Three areas, three outcomes.
Each supports the others.

Like math, language and science at school: each area has its own outcomes and is chosen separately, but they can also be taken together. The courses are ways into these areas, not prerequisites for one another.

Coding and digital creation

Breaking an idea into steps, explaining it to a computer, finding out why it doesn’t work. From Scratch to Python, from games to apps.

Algorithmic thinking · problem solving · digital creation

What it brings to the other two areas: the habit of breaking a problem into steps.

Course topics include: sequencing and instructions, events and movement, conditions and loops, app development.

AI

Understanding generative AI, asking good questions, checking answers, knowing a tool’s limits; creating their own projects, from text to 3D models.

Critical thinking · data literacy

What it brings to the other two areas: questioning and checking answers.

Course topics include: patterns and classification, telling a prediction from a fact, asking questions and checking answers, the limits of models.

Financial literacy

Money, needs and wants, budgets; the cost and risk of an idea. Learning to make decisions from a young age.

Decision-making · planning

What it brings to the other two areas: making decisions that take resources and risk into account.

Course topics include: the family budget, needs vs. wants, cost and risk, business models.

Each area is a separate program, priced separately (16 weeks: 30,000 TL; 32 weeks: 55,000 TL per course). If you buy two or more 32-week packages together (two courses for one child, or the same or different courses for siblings), you get 25% off each of those packages. If you’d like to add a second area, we can discuss it during the call, based on your child’s age and weekly schedule.

QUESTIONS ON YOUR MIND

Let’s clear a few things up.

If there’s something you can’t find an answer to, you can talk to our education advisor.

Are all three areas included in one package?

No. Coding, AI and financial literacy are complementary programs, each chosen and purchased separately.

Why is there no free trial lesson?

A single introductory lesson doesn’t show whether a child is really interested. You choose the course and the package together with our education advisor. Withdrawal and refund terms are set out on the “Delivery and refunds” page.

How do the packages work?

16 weeks cost 30,000 TL and 32 weeks cost 55,000 TL (FinProje has only the 16-week package); prices include VAT and are the same for all courses. There is no automatic renewal. If you buy two or more 32-week packages together (two courses for one child, or the same or different courses for siblings), you get 25% off each of those packages: 82,500 TL instead of 110,000 TL for two packages. You choose the course and the package together with our education advisor.

Do we start with one course or a whole journey?

With a single program and a 16-week or 32-week package. We can talk about a second area or the next course during the call.

Isn’t 5–7 too early?

Lessons at this age are 45 minutes long and game-based; no reading or writing is needed, and the blocks are visual. Every lesson produces something that works on screen. At first, it helps if an adult joins the lesson; you’ll see at home in the first few weeks how it’s going.

AI or coding?

At 12–15, these are two separate courses, and neither is a prerequisite for the other. Both start from the basics: Creating with AI requires no coding knowledge, and Python for Beginners requires no prior block coding or AI knowledge. You start with a single course. If your child likes making things like text, images and 3D models with tools, choose AI; if they like writing their own programs, choose Python. If you’re unsure, try the 2-minute course finder or request a call; a second course is added only if you want it, as a separate program. There is no AI course for children under 12.

What do we need, and are lessons in Turkish?

A computer connected to the internet, a camera and a microphone (for First Steps, our course for ages 5–7, a tablet is suitable); any software a course needs is listed on its course page. Lessons are in Turkish and fully online; no physical materials are sent.
